Term Service – Life in the Caribbean (LIC)

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LIC’s services (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Definitions
- LIC: The Life in Caribbean platform and digital card service.
- User: Anyone using LIC: consumer or business.
- Cardholders: Users with active LIC White, Blue, or Black cards.
- Portal: Business dashboard for Black Card holders.
- Deals: Discounts or promotions published by businesses.
Services Provided
LIC provides:
- Digital membership cards (White, Blue, Black)
- National and regional business directory listings
- A portal for businesses to publish offers and manage dashboards
- A platform for users to browse and redeem deals
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. Business users must be authorized representatives. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your information.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Payments & Memberships
- White Card: Free.
- Blue & Black Cards: Paid annually.
- Payment is required for activation and auto-renews unless canceled 30 days before expiry. You authorize LIC to charge your payment method accordingly.
User-Generated Content
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy and legality of offers. LIC may reject or remove content at its discretion. We’re not liable for business listings or deal claims.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service by:
- Violating any laws
- Posting false or unlawful content
- Interfering with platform operations
- LIC may suspend or terminate your account for violations.
Intellectual Property
LIC owns all platform content and branding. You keep ownership of your own materials, but grant LIC a license to display them in connection with the Service.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
LIC provides services “as is.” We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or results. Our liability is capped at the amount you’ve paid in the past year; we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify LIC from any claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Modifications
LIC may update these Terms. Notice will be provided, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

LIC may link to third-party content. We’re not responsible for their content or actions.
